Wine Tasting Weekend and Bordeaux City Break

Why not combine a wine tasting weekend in the country with a stay in the centre of historical Bordeaux?

In June 2007, the city received official recognition by UNESCO as a member of its World Heritage. Its unique architectural wealth has recently been restored to its original beauty and enhanced by extensive urban rejuvenation.

The elegant 18th century façades facing the Garonne River now look down onto wide embankments where pedestrians, roller skaters and cyclists wander through the gardens, children’s playgrounds and numerous cafés and restaurants.

Bordeaux is great for both culture and shopping. Wander through its medieval centre where art galleries vie with designer boutiques. And before dinner treat yourselves to an evening out at the opera or go to one of the many cinemas showing all the latest movies in English.
