Surrounded by vineyards and forest, our 18^th century farmhouse in its own grounds is just 10 minutes from the tiny hillside village of Sauternes and only 30 minutes from the elegant splendour of the city of Bordeaux.
On one of our relaxed bed and breakfast breaks, there are options that let you simply soak up the sun by the pool, wander the gentle local countryside by bike, on foot - or even on horseback or discover the rich and pleasurable world of Bordeaux's wines.

If it's sea air you want, the Atlantic coast and the Arcachon Basin are just an easy hour's drive away. What better way to end the day than to see the sun set over forest and sea from Europe's highest sand dune, then savour a plate of local oysters and a glass of crisp, white Bordeaux wine?

Wine is the life blood of Bordeaux and whatever your level of interest, our short wine-tasting courses will help you uncork the pleasurable mysteries of Bordeaux’s grapes and regions.

In the company of a qualified wine professional and in small groups of between 4 and 8 guests, you'll taste your way through Bordeaux's marvellous range of red and white, dry and sweet wines, learn the language and the tasting skills and put it all into practice during a delicious lunch in a local auberge-restaurant, chosen for its food and wine pairing menus.

You could then take a siesta or... we'll take you on a private tour of local châteaux, where you'll experience Bordeaux winemaking first hand, from vineyard to vat and from to barrel to bottle – and glass.
